About Our District

The University of Manitoba Circle K Volunteer Club The Western Canada District Circle K (WE-CAN) is a district comprised of the provinces of British Columbia (Dawson Creek area), Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario (North-Western portion), and the territories of North-Western Territories and Nunavut. The district has two Circle K clubs in it: University of Alberta and University of Manitoba. Two more clubs are being built in Calgary and in Winnipeg. The district operates under the banner of Circle K International (CKI). CKI is a student-governed college and university organization with over 12,500 members in 19 countries worldwide. CKI is a Service Leadership Program of Kiwanis International.

Our Mission

The mission of CKI is to develop college and university students into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to community service worldwide.

Our Goals

We have three main goals to complete when satisfying our mission: service, fellowship, and leadership. We help organize and participate in various projects and events, such as Books for Africa. We organize a variety of social events to help members bond with each other. As well, we endeavour on allowing members to take charge by taking on numerous tasks to complete our objectives.

District Sponsorship

The Western Canada District Circle K is sponsored in part by the generous donations of Kiwanis Clubs in the Western Canada District.
